Elementary Summer Reading
Summer 2024
Dear Lower School Families,
As the countdown to summer begins, the lower school teachers and the media center are launching our NBPS Summer Reading program. At the heart of our school is fostering a love of reading and our program continues to build upon that success during the summer months.
For each grade level, there are required reads and a required assignment. The children will have an opportunity to read and connect deeply with the story by participating in an activity complimenting each book. Students should return to school next August with the reading and the assignment completed, ready to engage in activities regarding their reading. As always we encourage students to read 20 minutes a day.
